Student Counsellor

Brooke is currently completing a Bachelor of Applied Counselling. When Brooke isn’t studying or ‘mum’ing’ she likes to train in CrossFit, go camping with her sons, surfing or adventure out into nature.

“Kia ora my name is Brooke and I live locally on the coast. I connect back to Fiji, Samoa and Norway through my parents. I come from a big family of 7 children and have 3 teenage sons. I was lucky enough to get my practicum placement here at Youth In Transition and am passionate about working with our rangatahi. I feel it’s an honour and a privilege to be able to walk alongside these youth through the challenges they may be facing. I love sunflowers and I can say the alphabet backwards faster than I can forward.”
