November Working Bee

This month’s Working Bee was a beautiful reminder of what makes our community so special.

We welcomed new volunteers and focused our energy on nurturing the sensory garden — a peaceful space which supports healing, reflection, and connection for the young people we care for. In addition our usual maintenance jobs were completed too.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this Working Bee possible — from the team at Kings Plant Barn, Silverdale for donating the most stunning sensory flowers, to Woolworths New Zealand, Silverdale, for a delicious breakfast. And to the incredible volunteers who show up at 7am to make a difference at our Duke House retreat.

A special mention also to Tree Solutions Tree Management Services Ltd for adding more stepping stones to our garden.
