Beca Working Bee

A huge thank you to the incredible team from Beca who rolled up their sleeves for a massive working bee at Duke House.

As they proudly told us “we are a young and fit crew” and they certainly proved it! A crew of geologists and engineers spent the day doing some seriously hard work:

• Planting native kōwhai, kahikatea, tītoki and pūriri to help protect the stream and feed our native birds;

• Planting heaps of fruit trees; and

• Helping finish the beautiful new water fountain in the sensory garden.

Every tree planted and every shovel turned helps create a more healing, nurturing environment for our young people. We’re so grateful for the energy, teamwork and generosity from the Beca crew!
