Got a few hours to spare next Saturday? We’d love to see you at Duke House!
Our next working bee is happening on Saturday 7 November, and we need helping hands to get stuck into a list of jobs that will make a real difference to our space and the young people who come here.
We kick off at 8am with breakfast, then it’s boots on, sleeves up and mahi time! Stay for as long as you can and help with whatever you’re able to do. No special skills needed, just a willingness to pitch in.
Here’s what’s on the list:
Tree trimming
Fertilising and weeding
Repairing villa weatherboards
Building a roof over our storage cabinets
Tidying up the garden shed
Organising the art supplies room
Every job, big or small, helps us maintain Duke House as a welcoming space for healing, growth and connection. A place where young people can feel safe, supported and find their way back to awesome, one step at a time.
Duke House, Saturday 7 November, breakfast from 8am. No registration needed. Just turn up!
