Our story is told by the big hearts of people in our community and the generosity of a strong network of volunteers. What started with a few passionate individuals, quickly grew into a groundswell of people willing to help equip our young people with the skills and resources to get them back into a life worth living.

We are passionate about changing the lives of our young people and have listened to their hearts and voices when designing and delivering our services. Over the past few years, we have been developing “The Journey Back to Awesome.” This programme is unique and has proven highly successful in addressing the needs of our young people who are dealing with such issues as low self-esteem, anxiety, depression and suicidal thinking and all the stresses of transitioning into adulthood.

Already we have helped hundreds of young people aged 10-24 and their families. It has been the joining of hands across our community that has helped us gain the best possible outcome for our young people. Due to this success, we can now see youth able to cope with life’s adversities, access help when needed and succeed in life.

Everyone has their own story and individual reasons for getting involved and we are most fortunate to have amazingly generous people with such big hearts in our community. Our counsellors donate hundreds of hours of their time for free. Our administration costs are donated by a local accountant and all our running costs donated by a local businessman. We are proud to report that 100% of funds donated go towards the programme. We aim to offer high quality affordable counselling to the community. In addition, it is our intended goal to never turn anyone away who is unable to afford our services.

Our management team includes expertise across the charity, finance, and business sectors. Additionally, our clinical team comprises a range of Registered Mental Health Practitioners including Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Therapists, Nurses, Social Workers and Occupational Therapists.

But we need your help to keep going - if you can contribute in anyway, we’d be very grateful for your support.
